Who I am

Veerle De Vos is a Belgian artist.

I'm Veerle De Vos (VV, born 1962), a Belgian artist. After a bachelor's degree in psychology and a career in education and banking and insurance, I turned my life around. During my first triathlon, everything came to an unexpected halt after a serious cycling crash. What began as a physical setback became a personal turning point and set me on a creative path that truly resonates with me today.

what i make

An ongoing journey of discovery

Joy is central to my work. I create colorful, playful art that emerges intuitively and has a lightness to it. Color is an essential part of my visual language and contributes to the warm, positive atmosphere of my creations. Above all, my work aims to evoke a feeling: peace, softness, and a moment of happiness.

My art is accessible and human. It should be close, brighten, and make everyday life just that little bit warmer.

My works have been featured on the television programme Het Huis and are located in the SHA Wellness Clinic in Albir, Hof ter Saksen in Beveren, the Erps-Kwerps residential care centre, and in many private homes, gardens and terraces.

A little bit of color, a little bit of light, and a smile every day.
